This policy describes how personal data collected through the clairvia.fr website is processed.
It does not cover data processed within the Clairvia platform on behalf of its clients. In that context Clairvia acts as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR: the relevant processing is governed by the contract entered into with each client and its data processing agreement, not by this document.

Data collected and purposes
Contact form and demonstration requests
When a message is sent through the website form or by email, the following are collected: name, email address, and any information freely provided in the message.
- Purpose: replying to the request, discussing a potential project, arranging a demonstration.
- Legal basis: steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, and Clairvia’s legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: 3 years from the last contact.
- Mandatory nature: name and email address are required in order to reply. Without them, the request cannot be handled.
Server connection logs
Servers automatically record the IP address, connection date and time, page requested and browser type.
- Purpose: service security, incident detection and compliance with statutory retention obligations.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in securing the website, and legal obligation (Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Retention: 12 months.
Audience measurement
The website uses Umami to measure traffic. This tool sets no cookie and collects no data allowing a visitor to be directly identified. The resulting statistics are aggregated.
- Purpose: understanding website traffic and improving its content.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
The website sets no advertising analytics cookie, third-party tracker or social network cookie. Only items strictly necessary to the operation of the website may be used, such as storing the selected display language, which are exempt from prior consent.

Data is hosted in France. Access is protected by authentication, traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access to production environments is restricted and logged.
Your rights
Any individual has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, object to the processing of, and receive a portable copy of their data, as well as the right to give instructions regarding the fate of their data after their death.
These rights may be exercised by email at cedric@clairvia.fr. A reply is provided within one month, extendable by two months for complex requests. Proof of identity may be requested where there is reasonable doubt as to the identity of the person making the request.
